Unjust Termination - Common Law - Length of Service
Of all the criteria that are taken into consideration in determining compensation to an employee who has been wrongfully terminated, length of service will usually be the most important factor.

However, it is important to understand that it is only one of the factors taken into consideration, and employees can still be entitled to significant amounts of notice entitlement, even if they have only been employed for a brief period of time.
